EARTH KEEPERS
A New Vision for Retirement – Rooted in Nature, Built for the Future
Earth Keepers is more than a retirement community — it’s a movement toward a more intentional, sustainable, and connected way of life. This pioneering community invites you to embrace retirement in a place where nature thrives, innovation flourishes, and every day feels like you’ve made a difference.
Meet Rachel
The Visionary Behind Earth Keepers
Rachel, the founder of Earth Keepers, brings a rare combination of passion, experience, and heritage to her work. As a third-generation farmer, award-winning developer, and community builder, she has spent decades shaping spaces that honor both people and the planet.
From revitalizing historic buildings in Philadelphia — even starring in a TV episode showcasing her expertise — to managing a senior living community in a restored gold mining ghost town, Rachel’s journey has always been about blending the old with the new, sustainability with style, and community with purpose.
Her roots run deep: Rachel is the great-niece of Joseph R. Walker, the legendary explorer who helped chart the California Trail. Like her ancestor, Rachel carries a deep respect for the land and an adventurous spirit — qualities embedded within Earth Keepers.
